M13 Hercules Cluster

M13 Great  Hercules Cluster

M13 is the most spectacular Globular Cluster in the Northern Hemisphere. M13 is visible to the naked eye under dark enough skies and is easily visible in any size binoculars or telescope. It is relatively easy to find due to its proximity to a bright star in the constellation Hercules. Globular Clusters are massive tightly packed clusters of tens of thousands or even millions of stars. Most globular clusters reside in the "Galactic Halo". This image of M13 is my first image with a DSLR.
